Dear Mr. Whedon,
I'm delighted, as is everyone, that you are directing The Avengers. We know it will be fantastic, and we can't wait.
I hope that as you make it, you will play to your real strength - love. The center of your shows is love, as you say yourself at the end of "Serenity". The ship - and the show - can't fly without it.
I don't mean romance, couples finding each other, though that can be part of it. I mean the love that moves us all to do our best to care for and safeguard our.

A Bride's Best Friends for Never

Women are making their mark in the male-dominated world of entertainment. A special panel called "Girls Gone Genre" was held during Comic-Con, It included Felicia Day and Marti Noxon, who gave some interesting stories about their experiences in entertainment.
Day gave some interesting insight about how women are being judges in acting and writing. "There's kind of a black and white attitude in women in Hollywood," she says. "You're either a sex object or you're really downtrodden.

OVERALL SYNOPSIS OF SHOW
Once upon a time a vampire named Angelus got himself a soul, fell in love with a Vampire Slayer, realised their relationship was doomed and left town. Now Angel lives in Los Angeles (the City of Angels, geddit ?) and runs a Private Investigation firm with friends Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn. He also broods quite a bit and uses too much poncy hair gel.

The SEASON ONE FINALE revealed that ANGEL will one day become HUMAN.
